The MBFI Learning Centre along with both Brookdale and Johnson Farm facilities are available to rent for agriculture-related activities including industry workshops, producer-group meetings, and youth events.
All animal handling activities must be pre-approved and carried out with a MBFI staff person.

MBFI Learning Centre
The MBFI Learning Centre is located at the Brookdale farm site and is wheelchair friendly. It is available to rent for a full day (4 hours and over) or half day (under 4 hours).
Services included with the Learning Centre are wireless internet, LCD projector, screen, and sound system.
The Learning Centre does not have an approved commercial kitchen for food preparation. Catering is not provided through MBFI. The Learning Centre is equipped with a non-commercial kitchen area. Area includes a fridge, stove, microwave, double sink and dish washer.
Renters are welcome to make arrangements with caterers to bring food into the facility. Renters are also expected to provide all their own supplies for food, drinks, and meeting needs. Catering recommendations can be made available if needed.
Three single occupancy washrooms are available in the back of the building. Free parking is available directly east of the Learning Centre. The parking area is not paved and there are no electrical outlets available.
Booking priority will be given to partners and sponsors of MBFI and youth organizations (4-H, schools, youth clubs etc.).
All MBFI buildings and grounds are smoke and vapor free areas.

Brookdale Farm Facility
The Brookdale Farm site is located at 107099 Provincial Road, Provincial Road 353 (Brookdale Road), ½ mile East from HWY #10. There is a heated shop, covered chute system and corrals available for use.
There are approximately 50 cow calf pairs at the Brookdale farm that can be used for demonstration purposes in the handling facility during certain times of the year. Please indicate on the rental agreement form what activities and demonstrations you wish to use the cattle for and what facilities that you will be using.
Booking priority will be given to partners and sponsors of MBFI and youth organizations (4-H, schools, youth clubs etc.).

Johnson Farm Facilities
The Johnson Farm site is located at 107089 Lori Road, 1 ½ miles East on Lori Road off 1st Street (access road to Assiniboine Community College North Hill Campus). There is a heated shop, enclosed handling facility and corrals available for use. Small groups can be accommodated in workshop for classroom learning.
There are approximately 60 cow calf pairs, 5 bulls, and 15 to 30 replacement heifers at the Johnson Farm that can be used for demonstration purposes in the handling facility during certain times of the year. Please indicate on the rental agreement form what activities and demonstrations you wish to use the cattle for and what facilities you will be using.
