Description
Smart Feed Pro can be used for monitoring intake, animal weight gain, or providing a daily supplement. Individualized feed intakes can be used for research projects or farm purposes.
Smart Feed Pro is a self-contained trailer unit. Each unit is solar powered and contains a feed bunk on a scale and an animal scale. Feed bunks are accessed through a moving gate. This gate unlocks when an animal with a radio frequency tag puts their head into the bunk. It locks when the animal leaves or once the animal has eaten the daily allotment. Individual animals can be allowed different amounts of feed per day. Trailers can be used for separate groups of cattle. Within one group of cattle, multiple trailers can be used to provide different types of feed or the same type of feed to a larger number of animals.
